I was considering this or the qsp karambit in D2. Instead I chose the cold steel tiger claw plain edge. It is a bigger knife for sure but S35VN, also backed with the triad lock. It's a solid feeling blade for sure and couldn't be happier with it.

Nice man!!! I might have to get me one of those!! I love Karambits an the wave hook.. just because if I get into a ugly situation that super fast deployment in a close quarters environment. Like at the bar... lol or a dark alley an that's the only way home. I love the saying.. "I'd rather have it an not need it, than need it an not have it" good words to live by!

If it is waved forward, starting with the index finger in the hole, the knife deploys into the hand without repositioning.

It looks like the large flipper tab would help protect your hand from being cut if the lock somehow failed. Reassuring.

Any recommendations for a super lightweight neck knife? I like that one that Civivi makes it looks like a shank! Lol

I’m looking to get it because it looks cool and seems like a nice fidget thingy to mess around with on the couch. As far as self defense purposes though… I’d stick to fixed blades. I would trust a folding knife for that, especially a karambit. Man…just imagine that thing closing on your finger brrr

I’ve seen a couple videos of you mentioning carbide tear out when using water stones on the more complex powdered steels. Is this true for steel like CPM 3v? Or are water stones ok to use without suffering carbide tear out on CPM 3v?

Love the Karambit. I've never been a huge fan of tiny fixed blades. I find a folder around 2.75-3.25 is perfectly fine for smaller tasks or edc. I have no need for a 2.25" fixed blade that's under 5" ovl. Im sure it has its place just not for me!

Would it be possible to do a video on "Flippers" that are easier to open?
I had an accident years ago and I lost a lot of dexterity in my hand, making it a challenge to open "flippers".
Auto's are legal in my state but not a my workplace. Thanks

What about the damascus version? How does that steel compare to other knives??

The Damascus Incisor looks like it's still nitro v. That kinda Damascus just doesn't look like something you'd get from 9cr
