Wait a sec. He just now realized his company doesn't make steel in the U.S.? Sounds like they just smash and/or cut steel after importing it and therefore are a competitor for U.S. steelmakers that actually make than same thinner plate steel customers want. Of course the tariffs don't help importers like their company. That's the whole point! Do we really want to rely on imported steel in case of another big war?
