I went to someone's house after a funeral. I saw a guitar and started playing. Someone asked play Wish You Were Here. I played, people were singing along. Afterward, we applauded the decedent. The husband thanked me.
It was probably the most moving moment of my life.
Thank you, Mr. Gilmour. Youve helped people get through mourning

Curious how Roger came from nowhere asking David to get that song and work on it when actually he almost refused to work on Comfortably Numb and Run Like a Hell during The Wall recordings... One day we'll find out what happened between these four years, cuz after Wish You Were Here, everything went to shit so quick....
