Plot:
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a 2018 action-adventure game developed and published by Rockstar Games. The game is the third entry in the Red Dead series and is a prequel to the 2010 game Red Dead Redemption. The story is set in 1899 in a fictionalized representation of the Western, Midwestern, and Southern United States and follows outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van der Linde gang. Arthur must deal with the decline of the Wild West whilst attempting to survive against government forces, rival gangs, and other adversaries. The story also follows fellow gang member John Marston, the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption.

WARNING: It does still work but you can accidentally break it if you're not careful.

I just learned the hard way that the glitch only works and repeats when you load a saved game BEFORE YOU LEAVE. So if you want to get a bunch of money and come back later, do NOT leave the area if the two guys are still dead. Make sure you save & immediately load like you would to continue the process, but leave while they're still alive.

If you leave after killing them and taking the money then come back later like I did, you're out of luck.

If you're doing this in the beginning of the game use the bow and arrow because it gives you health experience and you get the ammo back shoot the guy laying on the ground first then the guy at the table once he gets up

For one thing, after watching a different video, I quit giving money to the camp after about the 3rd play through. Also, there are about 3 guns you can get without having to buy and they're after you get to chapter 2 early on. The Lancaster Repeater is in Rhodes, the Schofield Revolver is in Valentine, and the semi auto shotgun is in Watson's Cabin. Only when you get to the free roaming aspect.

Large jewellery bag at moonstone pond was quicker for me. After walking up the tree to collect the bag in the cabin, I just ride up to where I can just see the bigger lake, turn around and go get another, then repeat. Faster the horse, faster the $50 bags get collected.
Cool bonus is there's often black bears around the cabin.

Thanks, this is a slow but safe way to get a decent purse to start. I got 6 grand. As mentioned, make sure to save and reload before moving on or they will not be there when/if you want to come back. Also, as Rick Faulkner mentions below, use your bow to level your health as you go, I maxed in no time.

As of 2:45am Friday October 14th 2022, this still works. Thank you for this GVAM. I'm playing on current gen (PS5) and it only takes me 2-2/12 minutes per run. That includes shooting the two dudes (sawed off shotgun works best), taking the money, saving and then loading back in. I've been doing it for about the past hour and a half, and I've already gotten $2600. This is such a nice, easy way to make really good money in a short amount of time. And it's so nice not to have to worry about money when playing this game. I'm about to drop a stack into the camp fund thanks to this. Even though I'll still be told I'm not contributing enough 🙄. So good. I have been looking around for a while for an actual exploit(not glitch as it doesn't break the game, and not mod as it doesn't change mesh or code). I needed some money to pay off an almost impossible bounty I magically got at the start of the game. And this has helped me to do so. Thx so much man. Take care all.

Thanks for the video mate. Still working on January 1 2024. Bonus tip: if you use arrow to kill both which is very easy you can increase health progression as well. Faster than gun I guess.
