E-Z Fence Post Mender

A look at the E-Z fence post mender from Simpson. This product is also rebranded under several other names for various stores. This is used to fix a 4x4 fence post that has broken off at the ground. While this is not a perfect fix (that would be to completely replace the post), this can get the job done. Ideally this should be used in a pair with one on each side. In my case I can't place one on the other side without needing to cut out part of the fence, so I am making due with just one. If a fence is kept painted, this can be painted to match. The main issue with this is if the concrete for the fence post was poured all the way up to the surface, then this option does not work. There needs to be at least 10 inches between the top of the concrete ground level for this to work, ideally at least 17 inches.

Sorry man, but you did this totally wrong. First, you are supposed to hammer on the lip that is halfway down. Second you are supposed to get this into the ground down to where the lip you were supposed to be hammering is at level with the ground. You have it way too high out of the ground and it will barely do anything to support the fence as is. And then you spray painted so sloppy and got it all over the fence too? Come on man
