We love you and every single advice you bring us. Got back to the gym after a 2 week man-I've-got-cold excuse today and killed my biceps with your videos, topping it off with the drag curl. Also, just realised how much I've missed this place, and only after 3 months of working out. I've got no doubts I'm on my very way to be a buff dude and you two do play a big role in this process. Hey I know the buffdudes are awesome at giving us the best fitness advice, but I wanted to ask you guys a different question. I am starting college next year and I really want to become motivated to study and also keep getting buff, you guys look really successful and do what/you love, if you guys ever make a videos abt balancing social life study and school it would be awesome.

My life sucks at the moment because I live with my parents and my dad is a very emotionally abusive person telling me everyday I will never become strong or successful, my day gets better when I watch your videos guys. I don't know if you guys will see this but if you do ....I just wanna say thanks for being there for me.

Great video guys. Ever since I have been watching you I have grown bigger, stronger and smarter. Just to give an example, now I am able to perform dumbell chest press with 30kg instead of 25. I've improved my squat from 70kg to 90 and my back are wide as Asgard itself.

The most muscle soreness I ever got in the biceps was from doing these with a moderate to light weight and combining them with the Gironda leaning over curl. You'll be amazed at the difference. You can waste years of your life doing regular barbell curls and cheating and not make any progress whatsoever.

I have never seen/tried this exercise before!
Feb I start my bulking back again, and i will definitely add this one out on arms day.

Which bar would be better to do this exercise with when you have weak wrists? I had an injury for 5 months and i am starting to hit the gym slowly again and this exercise seems the best bicep exercise to me. But would an EZ-bar be better for my wrists? I'd appreciate your tips!

Don't forget, additional benefits of exercise on brain function are also reported, including increases in grey and white matter in the prefrontal cortex and growth in hippocampal volume, with BDNF known to play a role in these effects. With a consistent habit in sports you increase BDNF secretions. BDNF (Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor) is released when your heart rate increases due to exercise, in return BDNF creates more connections between neurons and stimulates the growth of the Hippocampus. To further the effects of this you can take your daily dose of omega-3 (200mg). So following the B.U.F.F. dude's routines will bring you way more than just muscle mass and strength, especially if you do that 30 minute walking at the end.

This is a Vince Gironda exercise, very good for isolating the biceps.

Do these Drag Curls work out the forearms as well?

I have a wrist disease and I can't do any exercise that puts too much strain on it but I really have to work my left forearm.

Nice. I heard of these researching Vince Gironda. Great to see a different video of it. I was trying to do them but I was only dragging on the way down... now I know, drag on the way up too... thanks Buff Dudes!
