I enjoyed the tour. Our paths crossed a long time ago when you photographed a wedding in Mesa, Az. so I have been following you since then.

I think this is my 10th time watching this. Everything you said about printing and not just letting photos sit on a hard drive just hit me. I’ve been printing photos that mean something to me since this dropped. Thank you for the inspiration

At first I had a great time watching this video and now I'm feeling a great guilt for not yet having printed my photos. I guess I gotta go print some stuff now.

This was so good. Made me rethink a few things. Are you printing client's photos as well?
Also, those "skylights"...!

Man, great stuff here. This video hit me in the gut. Never heard the perspective you shared about not letting your jpgs growing up to be jpgs. “I didnt become a photographer for my things to just be 1’s and 0’s” Also you going into the image of your daughter that was out of focus. If you were acting and that scene was fake emotion, then you still got me. My wife and I are trying to have kids and its been a struggle to get pregnant but I look forward to the days of taking images like the one you showed of your daughter and having that same look on your face with love and joy because of who they are. Definitely hit a soft spot for me ha. Anyways, I actually do have a couple of questions for you!

1. Why would you say you aren’t an artist? I couldn’t care less if you were or weren’t considered one, same for myself honestly but I’m just curious because of how ademant you were about saying you weren’t haha
2. I have a friend letting me borrow their Mamiya RB67 Pro S. just got back my first 2 rolls of developed film and they’re awful but I love the heck out of the challenge haha. I REALLY want to get the 6x8 back since that seems more of a pleasing crop to my eye. I think I remember in this video that you usually shoot square but was wondering what your thoughts were with shooting 6x8. Did you like what you got from the camera/film stock?
3. Do you do a lot of professional sessions in film? Wondering what you did to promote yourself and bring in clients to do that for your business? I’m already being ruined with how 120 film looks and would love to add film portrait sessions as a package of sorts for my business but don’t personally know anyone who does that on the regular so any startup advice or “don’t make this same mistake” pointers would be helpful!

A video on printer recommendations would be great! Cause I don’t want my Jpg to grew up to be jpgs.

Do you have any recommendations for a smaller printer? Been on the hunt for something to print good quality 8x10's!

Do you develop your pictures? I mean, in your own lab, with liquids and so on?
