Hi Shayna, how you doin' ?.
Excellent video lesson Shayna, 'cause you gave definitions of the words, in this case, adjectives, and that's great because we can be awared of the different contexts in which we can use them, since sometimes, some words have the same meaning but there are slight differences that we all gotta know, you're doing a great job Shayna, I hope you keep making videos like this they're very useful and helpful. 👍😊.

By the way, "smart" also means "elegant" in some countries. :P

Imagine a tailor creating a dress for a woman. They know they can't get it right from the first attempt. So, they make the dress initially, a bit larger, then they trim it (on the spot) when the customer comes the second time (to try it). These tailors are educated, they always have option B when things go sideways, they navigate bad situations due to their preparedness.

Imagine a tailor who attempts to make a dress from the get-go. After taking the customer's measurements, they just go ahead a make the dress. When the customer tries the final product, oops, the dress is not large enough!
So, what do they do? They add one strip on each side, in a different color, and make the things "work".
It's fashion baby, it's by design! Creativity at work!

Imagine a tailor who asks the customer to try a few dresses, after taking their measurements. So, they do not rely only on measurements, they also try to find the right "template" for their customers and find potential issues. Then, they go ahead and make the dress. Their dresses are almost perfect from the get-go. It might require a bit of trimming but in most of the cases, none. Experientia docet!

That's the difference between smart (=educated), clever (=creative), and wise (=experienced).

You said clever can be good or bad. In reality all three are good but can be used for bad

Americans may be the most clever people on Earth but most lack true intelligence. True intelligence has a measure of conscientization, the consciousness that causes an increase in consciousness. Americans are very lacking in this critical consciousness. A sure sign of a lack of conscientization is the inability to break free of any religious narrative. D. H. Lawrence once remarked that the “essential American soul is hard, isolate, stoic, and a killer”—and except for “stoic, ” this description is as accurate in 2007 as it was more than 80 years ago when Lawrence's brilliantly unorthodox Studies in Classic American Literature was published. This dark tendency prevents Americans from growing spiritually and keeps them trapped in true ignorance.
