A person can be old and still not wise I knew somebody who was in their 60's who gave terrible advice about life and I thought it was good advice but then later on I realized it was very bad advice. Age alone Doesnt make you wise at all. Someone can be young be wise or carry a lot of wisdom about life like me I'm 25 years old and I certainly learned alot of things in life over the years coming up to now about lessons that I have acquired over the years.

I know that for a wise person I feel like they have better foresight than all the others. Which is usually why older people are wiser because they’ve lived longer and seen more so they give better advice in perspective of what could or should happen if you do xyz or even more grand picture thoughts.

so, smart is having information. intelligence is the ability to know a lot of information (like a prodigy, ) clever is like witty in action and wise is experience right. I don't know the proper formula but I've just got a hint at it, intelligence is the only one I'm still thinking a bit on (and maybe smart too.) please let me know what you think.

No. A Wise person is someone who had REAL LIFE experience or practiced something for a long time. WISDOM is gained by experience, you cannot learn wisdom in a book. You can become intelligent from reading, but until you put that skill to practical use over a long time, you are not WISE. An old friend of mine said it best:

Who would you rather have work on your car?
A) Someone who spent four years in school learning how to fix cars but never fixed one outside of school
B) Someone who spent four years fixing cars for a living.

Answer is B all the time. Talking the talk means nothing, walking the walk is what matters.

see I don't think intelligence can be measured and quantified. at least for now accurately. so IQ basically is good in job seeking maybe, but should not be the gospel for schools and institutions on which people qualify and which ones don't
