I’ve resigned from my last job and it’s been 2 years I haven’t joined anywhere. My mental health was tarnished away in last job…. I was hired as a graphic designer and they asked me to work on excel…. I repeatedly said to my manager I don’t know excel but he was such a toxic manager, won’t understand anything and said har job mein same tarah ka kaam nai milta…. I was shocked you are asking a designer to make excel sheets 🥸😟 After repeatedly asking him to do something about my work, he pressurised me by saying ki tumhari performance nai aa rai hai and maybe you might loose your job…. Till that time I was so scared because that was covid time and many people were loosing their jobs….. after getting too much mentally exhausted, I gave up and resigned. yes toxic work culture and toxic managers make people leave their jobs…..

Very nice and right Nikita
I have also worked in byju's and left it because of it's toxic work culture.
2.5 hrs of talktime+ 20 connected calls (1-connected call when you have talktime more than 90seconds)
To get attendance .
If you failed to do so, you will marked as absent, and absent means your salary will be deducted. In starting they will also give 2 week offs and after 2-3 week only 1holiday in a week. They are doing dirty business of education, by doing fraud with employees as well as students.
We are not allowed to use the word "loan", during conversation with student for selling the product if costomer is not financially good. Even many students don't know that byju's has done a loan on their name and sold his product.

My uncles who didn't even go to school but worked in family farms and silk culture are quite financially sound and provide jobs to others and yet our working class parents only concentrated on getting a good job.

I started working when I was 20 now I am 22. I am working as a Developer in pretty small company. But I have learnt this lessons so far.
1) Your co workers are not your friends.
2) Your boss is not your big brother or even equivalent to your father.
3) Always hide 75% of completed work.
4) HRs are dogs shit but treat them like king/queen.
5) Do not accept the lower paying jobs. It's OK if you don't have any experience but even if you have 1 year of experience you should always demand high.
6) Do not say yes to each and every thing it will ruin your life.
7) Do not work on holidays for them, instead invest your time learning something else or build your personal projects.
8) The more you will work the more you will be given more work and your colleagues will earn for free.
9) Do not assume you are safe, you may be fired within a day due to office politics.
10) Always behave mysterious, Do not expose your self much.

This are some of the things I have learnt in 2 years. Points mentioned above may sound cruel but it's reality of Indian companies. They treat employees like slaves. But I don't like to be a slave.

I was in kolkata for some time..
I saw people, Traveling by bus / train 6-7in the morning... Then do a 9-5 job which basically is a 9-8 job... Then they spent 2 hours traveling..Reach home at 10..Repeat..
Few people got divorced... Some people choose alcohol .. It's worse. and Sales sector is hell.... TL literally abuse people...

Worst part is you are happy when you quit the job but your own parents don't support you at all and always ask to get another job and earn money.! It's like using your child only for providing but not supporting or understanding

All this allegations are absolute correct. I am 30 years old Marketing Manager, after covid I didn't join any company due to above reason, today I work for family business and freelance for myself. I earn 1/5 of last salary not enough for stable life. But I am happy with what I have. Hell with toxic corporate structure.

The true problem is the bosses or the main person heading the company. Mostly, they are biased in favour of already established CHAMCHAAS which think that they are not working but actually ruling all the other colleagues and so despite of minding their own business they backstab & backbitch about others & the worst happen when that main boss actually listens to the CHAMCHAAS, believe them & react according to them to make every other worker's life a hell.

The best option appear to me now is to leave Delhi, settle in hill stations, start even working for a less paying job or start something I own, reduce my expenses and live peacefully.
Or try getting in to politics at grassroots level lol
