FOR PHONE USE IN THAILAND: I’m from the USA and we have Verizon Wireless here as a cellular provider. I was able to use my phone over there without a sim or eSIM with my number and same plan no problem. Was there for a full month and had zero issues. Hope that helps some folks out

Warnings:
1. Don't travel throughout the country.
2. Don't try to eat in Thailand.
3. Don't talk too much with the local Thai ppl
Because you will get lost in beautiful places, you will become chubby, you'll love them and finally, you'll cry when you have to leave this country and be "Bangkok Blue" when you get back to your homeland.

You should try Malaysia with 90days Visa free upon arrival for tourists from Europe & North America.

If you are nature lover & love adventures you should also visit East Malaysia on Borneo Island.😊

Great video guys. It was really informative. If I was going to add anything I'd say that if you are planning on driving a scooter in Thailand, a IDL is great, but if you don't have a motorcycle/scooter license in the country you are from, and get into an accident, don't expect your insurance company back home to cover any costs that arises from it. An IDL only covers the type of vehicles that you drive in your home country. As for driving, I prefer renting cars which are much safer considering how crazy Thai people drive. But if you don't want to rent a car, use an app to get a ride. Better safe than sorry. My wife and I own a condo in Bangkok, and a home in Hua Hin, so we normally don't have to worry about accommodations, however, we still like to splurge on nice hotels when you first arrive in Bangkok to rest and relax after the long flights from the US. We do have checking accounts/and Thai credit cards that we use when we're there that makes life easier also, so if you can, open an account and save some money. If you do wind up renting a scooter, car, or jet ski, make sure you take pictures of whatever you rent before, and after, you leave the rental facility so you can protect yourself from scams.

I dont understand the phone sim thing which entails going to the right booth at the airport, handing over your passport, fiddling with the phone, keeping your old sim safe etc etc. I always just use an e-sim downloaded before I go, cost is really good, no messing and wifi is everywhere if you want to make international calls on whatsapp etc

"Basic good manners", absolutely, just about sums it up, it's the key to successful interactions with anybody, practically in Asia, It works both ways and it's important to use good humour. Such a shame this seems to be so lacking in todays (Western) society. Having been to Thailand and travelled around the country on many occasions over the past twenty years I thought the advice you gave in your video was pretty spot on and you made some very accurate observations and points of the what to do and what not to do. looking forward to seeing more of your YouTube content in the future.

Hi guys! Stumbled across this video after researching for my short stay in Koh Lipe in April! This is all really useful information 🙌🏼

I was wondering if you think the rabies vaccine is necessary? We are staying for a week and would intend to avoid any stray animals. Did you have any problematic encounters with dogs over your 7 month travels? 💚
