Valley of the Shadow of Death — JERUSALEM

We walk through the Valley of Kidron, a.k.a The Valley of the Shadow of Death. But what we didn't expect is to find ancient artifacts, possibly dating to the time of king David. Join us as we walk from Garden of Gethsemane, through Kidron Valley, past the Absalom's Pillar, down to Zecherias Tomb, up through the ancient graveyard, and then underground the city of David.

I visited Israel early this year for 3 weeks. I walked through the wet tunnel which is about 15 minute walk. The water came up to my thigh at one point. Toured with an archeologist who took us to off the beaten path sites such as Bethsaida, trekking to Qumran cave #1, Anas, the high priest tomb in Gehenna, and much more. It was about 5 to 7 miles of walking per day. I will never forget it. I am reading the Bible again under a new pair of lens. Praise the Lord!
