I think the person who bought this car should buy Carol Shelby cobra at Mecum auction this January. Wouldn't it be awesome to keep these two legendary cars together?

Seems all anyone has to say is related to the price? Anyone know the specs? Sounded awesome, I bet it's pretty trick considering the gentlemen who built it. Sadly the commentators didn't have anything to add to just what the car was, can't believe it was a 289 ????
Money Money Money.
Wheres the Gear head details

When this car came out in 1965 they had a very hefty price tag of $5, 995.

Kids if you wanna grow up to be millionaires dont go to college, dont start a business. Just go to ur local Ford or Chevy dealer and buy the most baddest, newest, fastest sports car on the lot. Buy as many as u can. Dont drive them, after purchasing it go park it in a garage. Only drive it to get serviced 2-3x Wait 20-30yrs then sale it as brand new but 20-30yrs old.

Milionaire!
Ur welcome

Sad that this piece of american road racing history is worth the same as a "movie car" (bullet mustang reference)

I remember in the early 80s when these cars were available at reasonable prices.
