The music was a big part of the experience, it carried the whole game.

"See that ruin up there? Bleak Falls Barrow. When I was a boy, that place always used to give me nightmares. Draugr creeping down the mountain to climb through my window at night, that kind of thing. I admit, I still don't much like the look of it."

Five days from now after I've finished all my exams. I will continue my journey through Skyrim. I must continue my journey through Skyrim. It calls to me, it yearns for me....

53:37 I have just this image in my head that has a pizzadelivery guy knocking on the door to the dungeon entrance, but no one is coming to open the door

6:32 always gives me chills. It reminds me of the first time I entered Bleak Falls Barrow (basically the first Nordic Tomb I entered) and it just is somehow nostalgic or something. (just realized it's also what played while I spent 30+ minutes making my character :P)

Even today Skyrim has the most atmospheric dungeons. No other game comes close. And the music plays a big factor in this. Jeremy Soule is a genius.

I miss the good old days of playing Skyrim late at night, I want to get back into it, gets me inspired to do it and I just seeing and listening to this ambience. This sounds weird, but listening to these ambience music of Skyrim especially the dungeon ones remind me of a special moment that happened in my life, but sadly it went away. But thanks for makeing this man

This really makes me want to play Skyrim again. Does anyone out there still play in 2017?

I remember when this game came out, I was 9 and this game complimented my imagination so much and the soundtrack was a big part to make this game feel magical in my 9 year old brain, and still to this day, Im an 18 year old college student who still consistently plays this game over and over and still feel engaged and excited as my past 9 year old self once was. I know Bethesda have been getting lots of criticism over the years but holy moly did they make a good game, which will be with me forever.

The first track on this video is called “beneath the ice”, and I love to listen to it on cold winter nights, staring at the countless stars.
