Review - Activeon CX Action Camera

In this video I take a look at a budget action camera, the Activeon CX.

Cool review, you hit on a lot of topics.
I've owned the CX Black model for about 9 months now. And I also own the CX GOLD edition which has even better features, but it costs more too.

One thing I found funny with your comments, is that you talked about having to buy a tripod mount, but the camera has one built-in on the bottom.
I rarely use the external case so I'm always using the camera attached to a selfie-stick, which goes right into the built in tripod mount.

For the record, the DIS function is Digital Image Stabilization. It works, I find it helps a little bit.
I have been told that you can plug an external mic into the USB port, but I have not tried this yet myself.

My main CON with the CX camera is that I'm only getting 10 minutes of recording time in cold temperatures. I was able to get over 2 hours of recording time in the summer, but now that its winter, the batteries just can't handle the cold.

In general, the CX records pretty decent quality for the price, probably why I bought a 2nd one.

The mini USB is more useful than the micro usb for action cameras because it lets you attach an external microphone which is why it is fairly standard on action cams. Just if you were curious.

Hello, just bought this camera, can the FOB feature be shit off? Indont like the bubbly feel at the corners from the narrow to super wide, is there a normal setting without the wide feature?
