How to Measure the Height of Any Building (using Google Earth)

Need/Want to measure the height of any building from the comfort of your own home? Well, Google Earth makes that possible with it's satellite mapping technology! Using this technology, you can measure the elevations of different points to calculate the heights of various things. Follow the tutorial to learn how to use this technology! This only will work if the city has been mapped in 3d on Google Earth. It also is not always exact but it is the most accurate you can get without measuring the building in person with professional equipment. Hopw you find this helpful! ;)

You can change Google Earth on Chrome (not Pro) to Feet under settings

I tried doing this and it was temperamental. I'm looking at Cathedral heights: it worked from Bradford, England but in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland, despite the Cathedral being rendered in 3D, it didn't work :(

Okay man, but, what about 2d buildings? Not all buildings are 3d represented as well on Google Earth
