A review of the Tiny Ten fly fishing rod from Tiny Tenkara. This is the worlds smallest fly rod. It packs down to just 20cm, and extended will reach 1.5m long.
It is a rod designed for portability and small overgrown water bodies.
What I've found, and discuss in this video, is that the rod is at its best when your fishing trip isn't built around it. Rather, the best moments I've had with this rod were on trips where fishing wasn't the primary aim: hiking trips where the rod was at the bottom of my backpack, or moments when I remembered that I had left the rod in my car - and thus had something with which to fish a water body I had spontaneously discovered.
