Finally one person on YouTube who is not making people feel terrible for being in a Tier 3 college

I am a tier-3 college student, got placed in Amazon as a software developer.
But definitely agree with what he said the tier-3 college culture is super toxic. Students and teachers are extremely close minded. You have to do it own your own. I did the same hence, i am the only one from my clg to get such a big package.

These videos must be compiled as a documentary, named "TIER 3" with relevant stock video clips and royalty-free music to make it more engaging. I can bet it will be one of the best web series on such topics.

Thank You for talking about this, I also want you to look at GATE and IES toppers who dont get selected in any psu or govt jobs. Like even a guy who can get a 300 rank in GATE is smarter than 99.9 % of engineers in India and he cant get a job...

The point about entrace examinations is so true! The examinations are literally just an unnecessary obstacle instead of an actual evaluation. Like you said, it's not like only 1 percent deserve great colleges, all students do. They just use these methods because they simply don't want to expand the number of good institutions.

Everything you said is true but the thing is for someone from lower middle class family financing study abroad is really hard . Yeah it's right that in Germany cost is low but still 10 to 11L is still high .

But I am still hopeful, let's see what happens and best of luck everyone.

People who clear JEE exam with good marks end up opting for the best IIT they are getting no matter what the branch is. They take civil, chemical, etc because they are easier to get in top IITs, while they won't get a CS or any circuit stream in the same top IIT.
Then they study a bit of competitive programming and get a high-paying IT/Software job. The IIT degree that they have got is just simply wasted.

I used to be very sad last year because i didn't get admitted to IIT or NIT, but then my bhaiya who is pursuing his btech from Chandigarh university got a package of 15 LPA, i got motivated . Skills matter much more than your college. I agree that if you're from tier 1 institute than you. Are talented but that doesn't mean other guy dumb

Hi! I would like to say you've done a wonderful job putting these points forward to your audience. It's never about Tier1, 2 or 3. I'm myself enrolled in a Tier 1 college in India, but I've always been seeking curiousity, seeking new methods to improve myself on a daily basis. The things you said in this video it's not only helpful for those who have already given up, but it's helpful to us top 1% because a mere college tag will get us nowhere in life. Infact it isn't the college that should define you, it should be you who defines your college. IITs and NITs are top colleges only because students there have worked on themselves to such a level that they've achieved great things in life and in their journey to greatness they've made their colleges prestigious. Doesn't matter where you study from, if you know your interests and if your willing to put the efforts you can excel anywhere. After all you're the one who can change your destiny, no college wil help you in that. Work hard and you can excel anywhere.

PS: I'm a fresher at NIT Calicut(Mechanical). It was nice seeing your video, I'm sure your advice will help me throughtout my college life! And to be honest, I really did need some advice😅
