Join us for part one of our Drupal Live Build series.

The series aims to build a project management system using Drupal. Over several live streams, we'll build a functional Drupal site.

In this first session, we will create a Drupal website from the ground up and set up the project foundation.

This includes:

- Configuring a local development environment using DDEV
- Creating a GitHub repository to manage our code
- Designing a content model for our site

We will show you how to install and set up DDEV for a new Drupal project. This ensures a consistent development environment across different computers.

We will also create a GitHub repository to store our project's code. You will learn how to connect it to your local environment and use version control.

Next, we will focus on the content model and discuss how to plan and structure content in a Drupal website.

Thanks for this video.
Would you like to try the Smart date module for period searching in the next video?

I asked MS Copilot this: "Can you give me yaml for a Drupal schema?"

And then this: "Can you create an entire schema for a project management tool, and all the fields it might need?"

And it gave me the yaml to just drop into the project's config/schema folder.

Extremely Helpful. I am taking on a role that uses Drupal. Need all the help I can get so I can be even better. Are there any free events or conferences I can attend virtually?

Any guidance, recourses, training/ certifications, or accreditations I can receive would be great.

Looking to connect with Drupal experts.

Thank you for this work.
