2021: Are you crazy ? NO recession at all. Just chill
2022: May be mild recession
2023: This is the end of the world

Every asset class must be repriced to reflect a permanently weakened economy, demand pulled forward by ten years, and a Fed that no longer can run a debt based economy.

The recession might be worse than some might like to admit, but regardless, the key is just to keep making financial decisions that make sense. Some people are always yelling that the sky is falling. That's how the make money. I'm trying to build a channel that cuts out all the hype.

Is that "milder recession" after the "not so mild recession" coming in 2023? Yea, I suppose it will be slowing down by 2024

Projecting forecasts into 2024 is a bit too presumptive. The dynamics of the supply chain disruptions and the Ukraine war may reverse all of a sudden, causing deflationary forces and a U turn from the Fed.

I do not consider the recession in 2001 to be mild. Also, remember that the stock market lost about 47% of its value from 2000 to early 2003. All of this was significant to those of us who were working and investing at that time.

Fed funds rate goes to 4% in 2023, and there will just be a “mild” recession? If that happens, there would be another financial crisis. I don’t see rates going higher than 1-1.5%.
