I like to keep a 'in case the market crashes' fund to try and take advantage of the low prices. You got valid points though Inflation is dilapidating. Quite sad what's happening in the market. Although, even the worst recessions offer wonderful buying opportunities in the markets if you're cautious. Volatility can also result in excellent short-term buy and sell opportunities.
