YES! This is the James Blake I remember. Don't get me wrong, I love all of his melodic, radio-friendly stuff he's put out recently, but I fell in love with Blake because of his erratic, intricate drum patterns and capricious harmonies. Not many are going to like this, but I thought it was a delight.

This was the first tune James Blake ever made in a computer rather than on a piano back in 2008….

People are assuming that this remix is entirely new, that it's from Blake's current mindset.
It's not.
Blake didn't even play this remix. It was played by a guy named "Rich Reason", and he mentioned this remix is "from back in the day". And with that in mind, it sounds like this was done back in 2008 when Blake just started producing, trying to make dubstep.

This is crazy. I always dig all of his Harmonimix material.

This just goes to show the versatility that the masterful James Blake has.

A lot of criticism.. personally I dig the track. As someone said, has an 'oldschool dubstep' vibe.. Nice blend with the next track.

James has always said that an important factor of his Harmonimix's is that they do not sound anything like the original. Don't judge it as a remix, judge it as a James Blake tune.

This remix is at least 5 years old, and the clip has another track mixed in at the start, which is worth baring mind in judging the merits of the song. I remember James Blake and Rich Reason both playing the track at Hit n Run shows in Manchester, when James Blake first came onto the scene. The mix the track is ripped from features some awesome tunes, in particular the new Zed Bias track and Eagles for Hands’ remix of Ultraista.

The beginning is pretty shit to be honest, or maybe that's just cos it hasn't grown on me
but the ending is dope 1:36 <3

This is, usually, dope as fuck, exactly like the Kendrick's remix was. But once again, a lot of people won't receive this stuff, plus they like to talk shit after their first listen, which is a pure mistake.

The instrumental comes from " Indigo - Neveah "

I was searching some Gorillaz news when I stumbled upon this. I had never heard of James Blake before and this was a bad first impresion . I love Feel Good and most of its remixes but this just felt odd.

The beat is sick when behind the rap part, the rest is over powering the singing. Great effort just need a little tweak. James Blake is still a genius
