MODI METHOD Optimal solution Transportation Problem - Modified Distribution Method (UV Method) 2/2

After finding the initial basic feasible solution of transportation problem, the next step is to optimize the solution, that is, to find the optimal solution of transportation problem. MODI METHOD for Optimal solution of Transportation Problem (Modified Distribution Method) (UV Method) is discussed in this video with an example. Modified Distribution Method (MODI Method) (UV Method) is a popular method for optimality test on a basic feasible solution of a transportation problem. It is used to check if a basic feasible solution is optimal, and if it is not, then it helps to find optimal solution of transportation problem.
