Visiting 'CAESER’S CAMP' Iron Age Hill Fort on WIMBLEDON COMMON

It’s a rather Overcast Day in January but I’m out on Wimbledon Common to look at the Iron Age Hill Fort known as ‘Caesar's Camp’ which I haven’t been to since I was a Kid! I also take a Walk around some of the Properties in the Area and a fleeting Visit to Cannizaro Park with Lunch at ‘The Crooked Billet’.

Very interesting video Marq. I lived in Wimbledon for a few months in 1974/75 and visited the Crooked Billet. I didn't realise Wimbledon was on such a high elevation.

I bumped into Oliver Reed in one of the pubs in Wimbledon Marq will tell you a funny story when I see you again .

From what I can recall Marq, most jibets were located on high ground or next to a cross roads to make them more of a public deterrent.
