Hello, nice video. For adults, who long would a spica have to be worn for? I imagine that by virtue of the joint being immobilized for a prolonged period, there would be considerable disuse atrophy and joint contracture? Do you have any information about the rehabilitation required post-removal to return the patient back to full function? I would expect considerable wasting of the VMO, hip stabilizers and possible contracture of the Psoas... please advise.

I would love to have one of these done on me idk why but just immobilising body parts just feels so cool

facinatng. how is the patient removed from the table, and how is the spinal support removed ? Also, ...approximately how much does a cast of this size weigh? Is weight an issue?

im a cast technician here in KSA for 6yrs but only experience and havent been to school of casting or like this. can i ask if you have online registration so i can i have a certificate  even training cert.

never applied spica for adults in my 20 years, is this for hips or femur # or something else
