Pediatric Hip Dysplasia: Mabel's Treatment Story

Mabel had hip surgery at Children’s to correct her hip dysplasia. There are only a few orthopedic surgeons in the Southeast who perform Ganz periacetabular osteotomies and Children’s Hip Program has several, including Tim Schrader, MD, who performed surgery on Mabel. Mabel underwent periacetabular osteotomies (PAOs) on both of her hips and is back to doing what she loves – singing and performing.
