26:42 "When we can, we will." This actually got me a little misty-eyed. No way I could afford anything here, but I can absolutely appreciate them, and the attention to detail, from afar. Absolutely love everything about this. Thank you for having Mr. Eldridge on to show these off.

I'm not even a Star Trek fan but seeing this guy talk with such joy and passion while Adam reacts with equal emotion had me smiling all the way through. Awesome to see 🙌

I really enjoy it when Adam and his guest click together so well that their conversation about a shared passion is as satisfying to watch as is learning about the subject of the video.

I'd love to see Adam build something Trek... the Captain's chair is a long time ago now!

The idea of a replica becoming the production-used version for the SNW phaser is SO wild. I can’t imagine how excited y’all are at the prospect! God are these all so beautiful… I wish I could buy them all!

Watching Adam nerd out is just the best. Gotta love seeing people have a real genuine passion for something.

I lost all bodily control and now have a "Thank you for your order" email in my inbox. Welcome back to "This is why I'm broke"... what beautiful craftsmanship

I still have my dad’s tricorder! One of his favourite stories was about when a student came into his shop to ask about what type of metal a part was.
So Dad— already recognizing the metal— pulls out his tricorder and hits a few buttons, beep boop whirlwhirl and goes “ah, that is a type 316 stainless steel!”
The student then wore a huge grin and turned to leave. Apparently he had never seen a tricorder before because he thought it was all real 😭 my dad had to chase him down and explain it was just a toy so he didn’t eagerly tell the superiors about a magic metal analyzer he had. I don’t think they had portable XRF metal analyzers in the 1980s, so that must’ve been wild
Love you lots, Dad

Years ago I was working at Pinewood Studios and the stage next door were setting up for a James Bond exibition. I had a stroll round as a sneak preview and saw a case with the Golden Gun and it was exactly as they described. Badly painted and shoddy made.
The magic of the film industry.

I wish I had the money for so many of these beautiful items. But knowing people are making our childhood a little bit more real just makes me beyond happy. Amazing!

I... I want all of it. There's a space on the wall picked out for when they drop the plaque. Gorgeous, gorgeous work.

In the clip about 15 seconds in is Adam in a disguise lmfao, I almost missed that too. Considering it's just a beard, hat and glasses it works surprisingly well.

A very thoughtful replica company. Nice.

That visor looks incredible! Yes, the weapons and tricorders are great as well but that visor is such a specific design, such a unique object that is immediately recognisable. Amazing!

I was so excited when I noticed this video is 40 minutes long rather than 12 or 18. I love seeing artists and craftspeople get space to fully dork out! Much respect to all of the hard work by Barry and his collaborators.

According to Gene Roddenberry, in his book, "The Making of Star Trek, " he received a letter from the U.S. Navy asking for drawings to Dr. McCoy's diagnostic tool. Roddenberry wrote back to tell them it was made from a salt shaker.

I know the story why tricorders make the click sound... And its because the season 1 prop did have a mechanical arm mechanism that made the click sound. But the sound engineers for the show hated it so it was removed.

But they took samples of the click and then added it into post then on.

Another prop video, another W. Well done adam. Don't hold it against Barry for nerding out over your workshop, i feel like that is the natural emotion any fan of yours would feel!
