Kyosho Ultima Project | Update

G'day! This is an update video where I talk about the progress my project Kyosho Ultima which I built from spare parts many years ago. So far I've cleaned most of the parts and have made some carbon fiber shock towers. I've also made an adapter to fit the motor guard from a 2016 Optima to the vintage rear end. Plus I've installed a full Optima 2016 diff/ gear set in the vintage gear case. Since I'm going for a bright colour scheme, I've dyed the wheels to suit. I had planned on Part 2 of the build video being finished by now, but have been busy with the little extra's I've been making for the build.

Fantastic work mate, knew this was going to be good. Cant wait to see the parts being made, im making front control arms for my 4s outcast. $20 for the alloy but i did what you said to clean it and the wd40 has made the arms flex . Cant break the arms after wd40. I should've broken an arm after the carnage on the weekend. Hit a cheap rc cop car and went airborne then cartwheeled 20 times at high speed. Did it all day, was soaked and mud everywhere from the rain but these rc cars are too much fun. Even landed upside down, the elcheapo cop car didn't explode like i thought damit .Rainy days i should be building a kyosho or tamiya. Thinking of a wooden doll house, Mojave straight through the front door at 95 klmh . Should be a good laugh, we're usually in tears when things explode. Will get the mates around with a few beers for this one. Keep the videos coming mate, great work.
