Consoles are cheaper because the manufacturer can charge $80-100 per game.

If you buy a few games, an equivalent PC is way cheaper. Not forgetting that PCs do far more than play games.

problem is in some countries RTX 20 series is now replaced by 30 series, so your only option to get 20 series is second hand

Pc doesnt need to be same price to be "console killer". If you count everything from start to end console just isnt cheaper, you pay 100/200$ more for pc + 100$ more for peripherals (i count only good mouse and keyboard, not monitor since you dont get it for free with console) +20$ windows key (but i like to crack it just to make sure i never give a single dollar to bill gates) and all of that you will overturn on console just by supscription. Not to mention more expensive optional peripherals and much more expensive games, it really skyrocket the price wery quickley. I cant explain to people its not 2005 anymore and that time when consoles were cheaper is long behind us and probably never will be back.

Seems like a dusty ass used ryzen 1000 system with a rx 6700xt is the only chance to “kill” a ps5, and you’d still be paying $500ish to play in 1440p on outdated hardware. Console killers won’t be a thing unless AMD releases a rx 8500xt for $200 that performs like a 6700xt so that can be paired with a now EOL AM5 systems. And by that time the PS6 will be probably a year or two away.

I'd still rather have a PC, because I never have to pay for the privilege of playing online games like console peasants do with Xbox live or ps plus.
