C.S. Lewis's epic retelling of Cupid and Psyche!
Orual, veiled queen of the barbarian kingdom of Glome, sits down to chronicle her life's story and voice her accusation against the gods who stole her happiness. Under her tyrannical father and the dreadful high priest, her joy in the companionship of her beautiful step-sister Psyche is crushed when Psyche must be sacrificed to appease the jealousy of the goddess Ungit. But to make matters worse, Psyche naively believes she will be rescued and loved by Ungit's son, the God of the Gray Mountain. Now Orual channels her bitterness against the one who stole her sister from her, never knowing the truth: was he a Beast or a God?

The journey of the main character towards the end to petition God broke my heart, having heard what I did about his relationship with Joy. The way you illustrate the test of the God on the mountain at 1:20 brought these feelings right back, very well done.

Meditating upon what God told Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac has much to do with till we have faces because it debunks all doctrines, we are not here to have success, or become heroes.
Our lives do not evolve around ourselves neither our interests, it takes courage to face this fact of human destiny, I fear and tremble because I am afraid to disobey God but I learn to trust in his mercy as I see Jesus hanged on the cross and dying for me, therefore I cannot acuse God
