Man, the sing-scream in this chorus is just so raw I get shivers every time I listen to it. And lyrics hit so close to home I can't take this off the repeat for hours now. Love Silent Planet.

This band's compositional skills are otherworldly. This song in particular demonstrates not only how much range they have, but more importantly, the fact that their execution never suffers as they navigate that range (and boy do they navigate in this song). Needless to say, these guys also just really, really have a way with conveying emotion. How many bands can write a song that's THIS melodic, while still sounding SO angry, and SO emotional, while painting such a vivid lyrical picture, all at the same time? There are so, so few, and I'm just always so happy and grateful to have bands like this grind so hard at their craft for the sake of our entertainment. This is what true musicianship looks like.

It's just crazy, man, the fact that a band that's this talented, and this genuine, can remain so unrecognized.
