Knowing that this very song was boldly performed during the shipwreck of the Titanic gives me goosebumps. At times I do think no other piece could have been so properly and beautifully chosen, and that in itself might have been but a mere consequence of God's much-needed, flawless Providence. Doubtlessly I know that this masterpiece could have only been inspired by this physically imperceptible, yet divine driving force which safeguards us day to day. No other force could have motivated Sarah Flower Adams to write it. And on days when one suffers from the painful subjugation of headaches, it is very much appreciated.
