How to use Tesla Autopark to automatically parallel park

preview_player
Показать описание
Tesla Autopark uses a combination of GPS and ultrasonic sensors to automatically pull into both parallel and perpendicular parking spots. Here’s how it works on a Tesla Model 3.

Note: You do need Full Self Driving to use this feature.

You could park a battleship in that spot. Show us a tight spot.

The correct and better way is for us to just stop, press scroll wheel using voice command and say, "park my car". Expanded drone out view appears on screen and highlights and numbers any available spots within its immediate radius. Tap on the highlight section and then tap start. By doing this, the car knows your intention. I was making a left at at T-Junction and then wanted to immediately parallel park to the right. Autopark never came on. This is just one of many examples. We need, "park my car" feature so FSD knows your intention. Please everyone tell TESLA to implement

I’m not convinced GPS has anything to do with the parking procedure. The cameras on Teslas might be involved more than necessary, but not the GPS.

But sometimes 'auto park' does not show up, very intermittant.

Some of us are old enough to remember Lexus introducing self parking in 2006.

Is this available in the current 2023 Model 3 (Enhanced Autopilot version)?

Its pretty sick that we come so far in to future that cars can drive itself and park and stuff without human doing anything but sleep. Thats insane! No wonder i see 10 Teslas per day no matter where i go

You mean you need to have the right camera showing on the screen?

Of course he picked a spot that can fit a jumbo jet. It's only a useful feature if the spot is really tight.

Until there's a super busy road since the car has to reverse.

While it’s doing it, will it stop if it detects a car passing your vehicle?

Once it’s done, do you just put into park?

Do you keep your feet off pedals as it’s doing it?

Does this come standard or you must purchase the fsd? Thank you.

30feet parking hahah! Embarrassing all this, I see a lot of sadness! Very slow parking, test done with empty parking without car. Long, complicated and impractical parking system. My 2016 Ford Focus finds parking up to 40 km/h (25 mph) and without pressing the "AutoPark" button, it is always active. The Ford system parks very quickly, even in impossible spaces. My Ford Focus also parks without markings or lines and also calculates the curb to protect the rims!
