I'm almost 72 and an old white guy, but I always enjoyed seeing James Brown on TV back in the day. My Dad thought I was nuts but I liked what I liked! These guys did a great job to take it even farther!

I am a true, die-hard James Brown Fan! These fellas were Jammin' big time!! They know they can GET DOWN WITH THE GET DOWN!! Great, baaad ass moves. I could watch them all day. Loved watching dancers at 0:15, 0:42, 0:55, 1:20, and 1:35. If they go on the road, I would love to see them live on stage in Chicago. I've seen James Brown and The JBs more than 9 times in Chicago back in the day. I've also seen Maceo Parker perform live as the opening act, not only for JB, but also for the group, "WAR" in Chicago. I had the pleasure of meeting Maceo when he stepped off of James Brown's tour bus on Diversey Parkway by Lehmann Court almost 30 years ago when they were making a quick stop. I screamed in the middle of the street when I saw Maceo get off the bus. I was praying that JB would step off that bus, too, but he didn't. Cool thing is, Maceo was so friendly and down to earth. That made my day. Anyone or group of people who can do James Brown proud, is alright in my book. Keep on doin' what y'all have been doin'. God bless y'all.

This vid is the BOMB! I'm 63, back the 70's this dancing was all the rage! I remember seeing Pope, Tony 'GoGo' Lewis, Fred 'Mr Penguin' Berry (a.k.a. Rerun), 'Fluky Luke', Adolfo 'Shabba-Doo' Quinones and Bill 'Slim the Robot' Williams on Soul Train. My brother would lock and robot at our HS dances all the time. These guys bring back so many great memories of the fun times we had.

From someone who can dance, I just watch this video over and over. I have free styled and did cheorgraphed dancing, this is the best. When you dance free style, you get to truly see how the music makes the body move because it's not rehearsed. We need more feel good content like this. Now I know every era has its own style & twist on dancing but this stuff right here is truly what getting down is all about! The funk mixed with electric boogaloo was the introduction to breaking & popping which even today dancers are still influenced by it's style!
