Kurt Angle is a 14-time professional wrestling world champion, with titles collected in WWE, TNA, and Japan. He is in both the WWE and TNA/Impact Hall of Fames, a two-time NCAA Division 1 National Champion, and has also won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 1996 Summer Games with, as he likes to say, ‘a broken freaking neck.’ At every stop in his career, Angle has reached the top of the mountain, and now he’s taking his Three I’s; Intensity, Intelligence, and Integrity, to the podcast world as he joins host Paul Bromwell to take a look back at some of the matches, feuds and moments that turned an Olympic gold medalist into one of the greatest sports entertainers of all time. It’s True. It’s damn true

I don’t think people really appreciate how great Angle was. How many times you wanted to “Olympic” or now Angle slam a friend or brother, or how many times you put someone in an Ankle lock. He will always be my favorite wrestler and I think the adversity he faced in his career personally is a testament to how he always went out there to give the fans 110% of himself, even if that meant putting his body through hell. Love you Kurt, and I can’t think of my childhood and growing up with my brother and friends without bringing you up!

I hated this man as a kid because he would always talk crap against Eddie, but now that I think about it someone of Eddie’s most memorable matches where with Kurt. Kurt was a warrior a fkn animal! I for one will not forget you’re real legacy which is your Olympic gold!

“A great American HOLMES, does not rub it in people’s faces when he’s wealthy. No no he doesn’t do that. He does not look down on people or think that he’s better THAN because of his riches.” I remembered that since I was a little baby kid before I read that stupid quote “treat the CEO the same way as the janitor” or whatever. Eddies quote was always in my heart how to be a true American/ human being to others and show love. No JBL no great quote from Eddie.

Honestly JBL did shine a light on how great and beloved Eddie truly was to the fans so in a way maybe secretly he loved Eddie tremendously and wanted to be the heel to put Eddie over the top. So im putting all my eggs in that basket. JBL stayed “kayfabe” to the bitter end. Yeah I like that narrative. Happy ending.
