It doesn’t affect me in the sense that I feel worthless afterwards but it does offend me if ANYONE tells me something like that. It’s called boundaries and not allowing people to talk to me like that without consequences on their end. I don’t play that, if anyone disrespects me, I bite back even if it’s a kid. Hell that may teach them the consequences of throwing around hurtful words without any filter.

If someone said really nasty things about someone you love, it would make you angry right? Of course, because you care about that person. The same concept applies to yourself
