Very good video, the V485 pedal is better has more control of the bass, the V487a is strident and weak in distortion, however here in Brazil the price difference is great the V487a is much more expensive.

Had them both at one point. I agree the stock V847A sounds treblier. But shift the threadle of the V847 (loads of info online, takes only 5 minutes work) and they sound virtually the same. Also keep in mind that the 845 is a tonesucker, is lighter and uses cheaper components, the 847 isn't/doesn't. And if you like chrome, the 847 looks a lot classier as well :)

The 847 definately does have more high end and less lower end as well..it's more vintage sounding if thats what you want.

The 845 sounds fuller to me. Been researching these pedals for a while now. Gonna go to the store and try out for myself. In the end it's all about personal preference ;)

845 has a full sound and no high shrill treble...its a great pedal and cheaper than others in comparison

i got a V845 for christmas (2024) and also have a Crybaby classic that I've had 30 years. The V845 has more top end than the Crybaby.

The 45 is a tone sucker and made with cheaper components hence the price difference. The 847A is a much better product and won’t kill your tone. I suggest buying both and returning the one that is not suitable for you.

I'd interest to buy V845, sounds great to me, it has more bass. Does the enclosure is tough?
