As a POC, anyone can get braids. it may be uncomfortable if it’s your first time, especially with hair types with looser/straighter hair than 3a, but it depends on the person. No one is the same when it comes to braids. As of it being appropriate, why not! Braids are considered a cultural hairstyle for black people, especially women and it goes all the way back to before slavery began. So the point is, Any person of any color can get braids because at the end of the day it’s a hairstyle that you like so forget what they say and DO it ❤️
