Honda, Toyota, and Mazda beats every American brand and are the most reliable compared to the rest.

I only have eyes to Mazda, .Toyota or Honda (Mitsubishi and Isuzu diesel engines are really respectable too), they have earned my attention and fidelity

Dumped my 21 Dodge Durango RT. It only had 29, 000 mi on it. Transmission issues, suspension and allignement issues, tire issues and balancing issues, brake issues, infotaintment issues. Gas guzzler and seats were not very comfortable over longer road trips. Yes, it was fast and fun for a big SUV and was definately eye candy. I decided to buy a used Lexus, its higher miles but smooth as butter, quiet and drives and looks like it's new. Done with new cars. The key to buying a used vehicle is finding one that has no accidents and a good long documented history of regular maintenance (Car Fax)

With all the recalls that Ford and Lincoln have had over the last couple of years, I'm surprised they weren't on the least reliable list .

In Australia we have a far greater choice of vehicles but we never got the Acura and it was good to see Lexus in first spot and Toyota second

I understand how VW is on there but my own personal experience is this. As my kids graduated college and for ourselves, we bought 2018 Atlas, 2019 Beetle, 19 Jetta, 22 Taos and 23 Taos. With a total of 5 vehicles bought, over 200, 000 accumulated miles and 20 total years of ownership, there have been 2 unscheduled warranty repairs total on all vehicles. This is far better than any experience I’ve had with any make, including Toyota and Honda.

I did pull up to a 2024 Atlas on the side of the road. His just died. I think I may be out of the market for a new one. I have the VR6 and no digital dash. His dash quit.

I have another year of warranty left on my 18 because all of the 18 and 19 models have 6/72 bumper to bumper.

My next vehicle? Likely one of the 60, 000-100, 000 mile 2008-2012 Lexus LS that I see every now and then in the mid teens. I’m not sure I want any more new cars.

Stellantis just flat out made a red headed stepchild out of chrysler. They only have 2 models in their lineup and they couldnt get the attention to detail to be good, if not great, vehicles. As someone who enjoys his dodges/chryslers, im aware theyre not the pinnacle of reliability. That said, theyve never really given any issues without reason, like excessively delayed maintenance. Im a firm believer that 90% of all car problems can be prevented through routine maintenance. Just my $0.02. :)

I always look forward to your videos and content. I would like to add political alignment when making vehicle decisions! Toyota was a major supporter and donor with the "stop the steal" campaign. This is not only a major personal, red flag, it is a death blow for any future interactions with Toyota! When you make decisions you also have to accept the consequences!

I’ve owned 8 Nissans and 3 Hondas. All great cars. I’ve never had a problem with any of them. I’m in the auto business and I know Hyundai & Kia struggle with quality. The Sentra is a better car than the Corolla; I’ve driven both a lot.

Been a car guy for 35 years and owned many. I still say nobody gets the combo of reliability and build-quality better than Mazda.

Owned many German and Japanese brands. Toyota Sienna is only car I have ever owned that needed an engine out service to stop an oil leak. That happened in the third year of ownership. IMO German cars feel more solid.

I know that you have said Subaru is on the top ten list for most reliable vehicles. May I ask where does it fall on that list? I am just curious.

Also, from one of your previous videos, do Subarus pass the 200, 000 mile marker and keep going? Or is this not the case?

Owner ranked is a double edged sword. Average American has pretty much zero car knowledge these days so why would I let them rank anything it’s always less than accurate. You want an owner perspective. Smh

If a Mini ever makes a “Most Reliable” list, take that list with a *huge* grain of salt.

American cars dominate where I live in Michigan. This stats must be from city people!

Tesla has more recalls then any other car manufacturer!😮 Stick with the domestic car manufacturers: GM, Ford, Chrysler!😊
