Welcome to Video #3 in my Ford F350 project series!
In this episode:
🔧 I tackle the service engine light by addressing a Code P1149 (Alternator #2 High Output).
🔧 I replace the MAP sensor vacuum hose to ensure proper function.
🔧 I clean the Exhaust Back-Pressure (EBP) sensor for improved performance.
This is all part of my ongoing journey to revive this 6.0L Power Stroke diesel engine. When I bought this truck, I didn’t even know if it would run. After towing it home, I made it my winter project, learning about the vehicle and its systems as I go.
This series documents my progress as I troubleshoot, repair, and restore this quad-cab short-bed dually. Each video captures the challenges and small victories along the way!
