i got a 2003 first gen 6.0 bone stock with 230, 000 miles now, never put nothing but batteries and a starter on it. Hauled fifth wheels with it its whole life as an every other day use truck. Loved owning it these years.

Got my minty 06 manual with 50k a few months ago. Blue spring, scangauge, cleaned egr valve, coolant flush and coolant filter, new oem oil filter cap and filter, both fuel filters (filled with seafoam), trans/tc fluids. Oil and coolant temps have been awesome. 1-5 degrees. Saw 9 while towing 6k lbs. I'm super happy with the truck. Guys like you and your knowledge made me confident with choosing the 6.0.

2004 6.0 dually. Primarily stock. It does have a slightly bigger turbo and cold air intake. When i bought it, it only had 127k miles an it was deleted. first day of the second week it died while I was driving. Crank no start. So the first thing I did was change the IPR. then I found out my HPOP was bad. So I changed the HPOP, oil cooler, flushed my coolant system, an never had a problem since. I love my 6.0. Change yo oil and all filters on time. Between 8 an 10k miles an u got a dependable and probably the BEST sounding diesel of all time. 185k miles an running.

Bought mine brand new with 43 miles still have it and after getting the engine fixed still love it. Maintenance is the key for the 6.0. You keep up with all Maintenance and not short cut it this truck and engine will last a long long time

Bought an 07 King Ranch 6.0. 155.5k miles on the clock. Already had ARP studs, BPD remote air/oil cooler, BPD EGR cooler, rear suspension airbags with onboard compressor, and new GoodYear Wrangler tires. Things I've done so far: new OEM foglights, new OEM headlights, 08+ style side view mirrors, CTS3 monitor, jimmi-jammers in the front doors (soon to be in all 4 doors), and a Ravelco anti-theft system. I have stainless steel ESOF vacuum lines for the 4wd system on the way from Diesel Site.

When I first got my 6.0 I did the blue spring mod and Egr delete. And when I had the delete done I also put in a new OEM oil cooler, stc fitting, dummy plugs and all new gaskets. After that was the charge pipes and a No Limit intake followed by a Sinister Diesel coolant filtration kit. 👍

And I just got a Livewire Ts tuner in May.

My 04 F-350 6.0 powerstroke is coming up on 300, 000 miles bone stock aside from a sinister diesel oil and coolant filter and new injectors due to a fuel contamination issue. I did also have the engine body harness changed due to it melting above the Turbo. All I use it for is hauling so it's run hard.

It has not been studded or deleted. It has also never had a tuner on it. I do maintain it well.

I took mine to Powerstroke Specialty in Bufford, Georgia and they o-ringed the heads, installed ARP studs, coolant filtration kit, I already did a air intake, boost tubes, did tuner, exhaust turbo back still have it, has over 310k on it and going strong! Love that truck, just passed it down to my son.

Thank you for letting people know how it is. 6.0 are a fun truck but a person needs to know their truck.

When I was set on getting a 6.0, I got a monitor to plug in while I was shopping. Monitor hands down most important

Bought my dad's 1 owner 6.0. Blue spring, cold and hot side intercooler piping, Mishimoto coolant filter, and CTS3 insight. After watching your channel I purchased these and with the monitor I noticed my deltas are very large and it runs hot. Now I'm going with an upgraded OEM oil cooler and AFE EGR cooler to help with that. Hopefully that will fix that heat issue. Love your channel. Keep it up please

Ive got a 2004 f350 6.0 lariat crew cab DRW (172 WB!) Truck has 231k on it rn and was built 08/03. So its 24 years old rn! Bone stock when i got it except a cold air intake and 5in exhaust. Only issie ive had is IPC sensor went bad, regular maintenance, shocks, a coolant Y connection broke, and a fuel station had kerosene in their diesel pump which left me with a bill of replacing all injectors, since the injector replacement its ran like a brand new truck and i love it. Never lets me down and has been an amazing truck.

I have run Glowshift for 5 years and the only issue was an oil pressure sensor that needed the upgraded one. They sent me the sensor for free. I always recommend them.

Changed all the fluids and I mean every fluid in the truck.

Happy to find this video, I just got a 05 f350' 6.0 dually. The owner had it bulletproofed with the sinister diesel oil and coolant filtration kit. I will have to check if he did any of the other upgrades. - but its my first diesel so I'm learning all I can to maintain and keep it running smooth! It sure is a beautiful truck! I appreciate your channel. I think some monitors are needed next :)

It costs thousands of dollars to bulletproof a 6 liter, but it’s worth it!! Best money the other guy spent before I bought it.
