Excerpt from Fr. Mike's Homily for the Twenty-sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year A)

The freedom to love when you no longer feel like it.

The precondition for love is freedom. Both the freedom to say no and the freedom to say yes, regardless of passing moods or circumstances. Tough love is willing to choose the good because God asked us to and because we said we would.

Exactly! Love is not a feeling. It’s a verb that is shown in your actions and behavior. It’s also actively choosing to be loving towards that person. It’s honoring the vows and covenant you made to your spouse and before God. It’s not a Disney film or fairy tale. The only happily ever after and perfect love is Jesus and spending eternity with Him.

I guess:
it is going to be an unusual "thing." How does one know; how to be; when it is the first time in history; after St Francis and St Claire. But we have technology; which is far better than; no video; and no posting. All one sided; with no; one on one; because: this "thing" is in reproachable state of "widowhood" in Isaiah 54.
