Evaluating Limits Involving Absolute Value
Показать описание
This video gives two examples of using absolute values to evaluate limits. In calculus, the absolute value of x is treated differently than in algebra. Here, we replace x with negative x if x is less than 0. When x is greater than 0, we simply drop the absolute value and proceed.
The second example deals with absolute value and one-sided limits to show that a limit does not exist.
