Do you ever answer the questions people ask?

Are you sewing 1/8” just “outside” the line? Or are you sewing 1/4” allowance line?

Not helpful at all no replys or size of fabric to use? Frustrating for new quilters!

my pattern has them already cut, so need to match them and sew together, having trouble getting 1/4 at top

Great video. If want to do 6 x 3 or 4x 2, I understand it's ½ inch more for the big rectangle but for the small what size ?

I have the Creative Grids ultimate flying geese tool and I love it!! One ruler makes many various sizes of geese.

I assume size doesnt matter as long as the 2 squares equal the rectangle.

I don't have one of those rulers. How do I make an accurate unit?

Sherry, did you do a tutorial on how to do those stars that are just above the row of flying geese? Those are really beautiful too!

What a lovely presentation! You are so calm, and explain the process clearly. I am so struggling with flying geese. I bought an Accuquilt cutter because I'm having shoulder problems using rotary cutters and mats, but trimming this way would be great because I end up with imperfect levels of fabric even with the flying geese die from Accuquilt. I have now checked and re-checked my 1/4" seam, and that makes a difference. Question: when I measure my quarter inch for accuracy, should I measure covering the thread, or to the right of it? I'm currently using a setting that measures a scant quarter inch if I measure to the right of the thread, and a perfect quarter inch if I measure the seam width covering the thread. I figured it would work as long as I use the same setting every time. Failing that, I'll drop trying to figure out the computerized machine and go back to using my Featherweight, which doesn't take such jimmying around to find perfect settings. I think I'll buy the Block Loc to square up even the Acccuquilt 3 x 6 flying geese. I've been surprised that such tiny adjustments make for perfect points. I'm a beginning quilter, and a bit overwhelmed by the accuracy required. Thanks for a great video.

I have hesitated to purchase this ruler as it is so expensive! I am thinking 🤔 that I need to add this to my wish list! Maybe Mother’s Day? 🥰🧵✂️
