Good on you. That being said, good luck doing that with any new pickup sold in the US. The deck height of new trucks is ridiculous, as are the bedsides, grill, hood length, etc.

i do the same with mi pick up tacoma acces cab, i sugggest to get hand truck a longer handles, and use straps around your back👍

Works great on an older truck where the bed isn't 5 feet up. Another example of older and simpler being better for actual ownership.

100 % exactly, I have moved many appliances in my lifetime doing this same technique by myself with my pickup truck

I never tried it that way. I always lay the washing machine down and slide it off the edge of the tailgate then hand truck it from the ground. I'm really not that strong enough to hold the hand truck from going away. Also if I have a step to load or unload I will use the step to my advantage. 73

You could do it this way the rest of your life without getting hurt.
You could also play golf in a lightning storm without getting struck.

That's because the pick up bed is low. If you have to use a 4×4 is completely different.

Put a sheet of cardboard on the bed when you load it.
Tip the fridge onto that.

During drying, does the moisture get collected into a reservoir, and go down the drain? Or into the homes atmosphere? Probably a little of both. Genuine question, anyone know?
