She kills it in this scene 💜 The subtle movements and idiosyncrasies, her unblinking stare, calm, controlled voice. Just, chills.

I love how calm and rational shes being about it like, "Hey, chill, its an invasion. Not much you can do about it, give up my guy."

This is one of the creepiest smoothest scenes ever. The Voice the tone Everything. I enjoyed the movie overall but this was the most memorable part of this movie to me.

Best scene from this awesome version. Meg Tilly killed it. "Go where?"

Good acting from that woman. She managed to invoke some kind of uncanny behaviour somehow. Can't explain it

The way it just talks you down is so insidious. I love it. It's far more threatening than any slasher monster.

And then when it cant do it calmly it sets the alarm off

What a wonderful scene, so smooth and perfectly paced. It just goes to show how good material can still produce good films over the years, with the right people involved.

All these years and still one of my favorite all time scenes. Chilling...

There's something genuinely unnerving about Meg Tilly's delivery of the "Where you gonna run" monologue. I think it's a mixture of the (thankfully not overdone) emotionless tone she speaks in, and that she never blinks throughout the whole thing.

One of my All time movies/Remakes. The story/acting was great. Her line "where you gonna go, where you gonna run, where you gonna hide? No where, cause there's no one... like you.... left" Then the scream.. so epic

0:25 I love the way she draws out the way she says "go whereee". Something about it comes across as almost playful in a malicious/mocking way

This scene standouts the most for me in this movie, her eerie! Good acting by Meg Tilley!

One of my top 3 favorite movie scenes of all time! I love, love, LOVE IT! Meg Tilly was perfection- her soft, calm voice is completely antithetic to all that is happening, the chaos inside and outside, of course showing that she has no emotion and somehow that is supposed to equivocate to being happy, (hence her explanation to her husband that it all just melts away-more like your soul does) yet as the rest of the family tries to escape she does the complete opposite of showing no emotion and SCREAMS, sounding the alarm- they are escaping, amazing. The sound, music, effects, staging, lights, mood, Terry Kinney's reaction, everything was NAILED! That is one incredible scene, in a movie packed full of them. Needless to say, I feel the scene was top notch, and I also believe the movie was too.
