Michael Bay: Let's put some explosion there!

The look on Cameron’s face when Bay says “I’m just a little director w/ a dream of doing a 3D movie”.

Michael Bay does not pretend to be smart in story and character development but when it comes to technical filmmaking you got to give it up to him.

To be honest... I wouldn't want the Titanic to be Directed by Michael Bay. XD

I'd probably die in the explosion.

Ever since Michael Bay mentioned last year that the movie will be shooting in 3D with the 3D camera crew of Avatar, I became totally fascinated by the whole process. This video really puts an even better insight on it. I always thought that shooting with 3D cameras was just as simple as shooting it and then you're done but what they say totally addresses that and helps the audience understand that no matter if it is shot with 3D cameras or post converted, it is still a complicated process

I like both Cameron and Bay. I don't know why critics hate Michael Bay, just because he puts too many explosions or because in his movies the camera never stops moving and as a result the editing is cut so fast?

Despite being hated by so-called cinephiles, Bay stands as a top notch filmmaker and a pioneer. To the plebieans hating on Baysed, what have YOU done for cinema? Do you even have two films in Criterion release? Of course not, shut up and go back to watch any of the pseudointellectual Nolan's installments.

I used to hate Michael Bay. But I got smarter thatn that. He's genuinely in love with filmmaking. Look at his enthusiasm when he talks the technical stuff. He puts a lot of effort into what he does. That alone deserves some respect. He is, I think, one of the best directors in terms of production. Storytelling and some decisions in visual style are subject to criticism, as well as stories themselves and direction of acting, but damn do his movies look solid.

James Cameron, the master of smart and awesome action and Michael Bay, the master of mindless and dumb action are sitting together in the same room

Ah the two sci-fi billion dollar grossing movie directing and producing champions. Michael Bay and James Cameron.

Look at the body language of Bay and then Cameron. Cameron is so relaxed while Bay is jittery and restless and nervous. I think Bay has had a long undiagnosed case of public speaking fear. And at CES we saw it in full swing.

Seeing these two directors together I can't help but think that Michael Bay would make an awesome Terminator movie and James Cameron could make an amazing Transformers movie, preferably the War for Cybertron

James Cameron lived in a car. He has a big ego? Well I say he earned it.
