Outhouses are still being built and used today. I know because I've been researching, building proper outhouse and repairing and restoring some over 300 yrs old. I've been doing this since prior to the turn of the century. I like it when folk build their own as it gives them a feeling of satisfaction but they should consult with a full time builder for advice. Few folk know more about these, if any. I would keep away from the crescent meaning info you provided as it just isn't so. I can name the sources of this erroneous info and explain why what you say doesn't make sense. But there were some nice things in your presentation & you certainly are a better speaker than me.

5. Keep your water well as far away as possible from the outhouse. You can taste the difference. 🤔😳
