Just to let everyone know, seating your SSD make take multiple attempts to get it installed proper. It took me 4 try's before my PS5
recognized the M.2 drive.

After installing my drive I get a "cannot format drive" error. Anyone else ran into this problem?

I've tested Gen 4 drives with 5000Mbps speeds that worked just fine. Of course this video is a bit old and it's been updated. Even seen people go as low as 3900Mbps Gen 4 drives and it worked.

Word of warning please don't use heatsinks that use rubber bands to hold it together as the amount of heat the heatsink give off will melt the rubber bands and ruin your ps5.

Those specs didn't change but the real thing that matter is that it is a gen 4 card so even the slowest gen 4 card will work.
