They're not doing themselves any favours keeping her around, the best thing they could do right now is give her the boot and give some other unknown a go, though to be honest the whole party's a mess so it's unlikely to make much difference in the long run.

I find it only semi-interesting to hear from yet another "big thinker" with a sweeping overview that somehow doesn't mention ecological limits, and the ensuing consumption limits now causing "doh!" moments for every society. Most politicians don't mention it because they are all so far from a solution -- because the problem can't be solved, only the economic decline managed, or not. How do we redefine prosperity in a much more humble way?
